Predire Industries AB was founded in 2009 but has a long industrial history. The company was originally founded in 1947 by Einar Jonsson known Jiwe Products AB. In 1991 the name was changed to Jiwe Companies and 1997 there were 3 workshop units located in Sölvesborg, Olofström and Gothenburg, and with a galvinizing unit in Sölvesborg.

In 1998 the workshop unit situated in Sölve, just outside Sölvesborg, were sold and renamed to PEAK Industry.

In August 2009 the company were bought by Predire Group AB, which also operates the businesses Predire Testcenter and Predire Fahttps://www.predire.comcilities.
